A look at the Royal Australian Air Force from its formation in World War One through most of the 20th Century.
This updated version of the program RAAF Heritage looks at the Royal Australian Air Force from its formation in World War One, when flying machines were constructed from wood and canvas, to the amazing F-111s, a triumph of aerodynamic science. The program follows the RAAF campaigns in both world wars, Korea and Vietnam through the eyes of newsreel cameramen and their remarkable on-the-spot footage.
