1978, 78 Minutes

Set in Sydney’s western suburbs this telemovie provides a graphic and moving account of a marriage under stress and the effect that a break up has on family members. It tells the story of mateship, infidelity, a suffering wife and the reaction of the two children when their mother, at breaking point, leaves home. Slowly, painfully the husband comes to his senses, putting his family before his drinking and motorbike interests. He asks his wife to return home, saying things will be different. But will they?
