Film Australia has produced a performance television special of Australia’s most popular children’s ballet, 'Snugglepot and Cuddlepie', based on the much-loved bush creatures from May Gibbs’ children’s classics.

This delightful ballet, performed by the Dancers Company of the Australian Ballet School with guest artists from the Australian Ballet, brings the enchanting world of May Gibbs’ captivating bush characters - Snugglepot, Cuddlepie, Snake, Kookaburra and Ragged Blossom - to life for viewers of all ages. Prefaced by a brief overview of the life of this favourite Australian children’s author.
